Non accessible content

Charts and tables

Our statistics and reports contain many charts and tables. They always have a figure description, but data in charts and tables are not described in detail. If you need detailed data, contact us and we will help you.

Same link names, but with different target

Many of our articles and statistics products have the same name, but are published as subsets of different time periods. The unique pages often get the same link text, but unique addresses. We work actively to prevent it from happening on newly produced material, but there are some older materials that are primarily visible on our label pages and in search.

Deficiencies in forms

We sometimes use forms on our website, to interact with our visitors. They are created in a third-party product for our publishing tool. In the current version there are some shortcomings where, among other things, we cannot always put the right ID and connections between label and field. It is primarily a problem for users using screen readers or navigate with the keyboard. We will upgrade the solution as soon as possible.

Older documents

Our statistics, our analyzes, evaluations, referral responses etc. are in older versions saved in pdf format which are not always accessible. The content is usually accessible, although the reading order is not always correct.

Older data from our statistics products are available in Excel to enable a personal selection of data. In 2019 we launched the opportunity to make our own selection directly on the website, but only accessed from the Swedish web site.

We are actively working on accessibility adaptation of newly created pdf documents. We also work actively to avoid the pdf format in our reports of our statistics, but work on it with the new publication of each product.

Disproportionate burden

Transport Analysis invokes an exemption for disproportionate burden in accordance with § 12 in the accessibility regulations for the content described below.

The ability to make your own selections, cannot be done without javascript. The solution has been created for a good user experience, where users need to make many different choices. Without the possibility of javascript, we would be forced to create a less good user experience, with more clicks and a poorer overview. Therefore, we will not create a solution that can be accessed without javascript.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

The content described below is not fully accessible, but is exempt in accordance with § 9 in the accessibility regulations.

Information published in documents (such as PDF files and Excel files) should also meet the accessibility requirements. Older documents (published before September 23, 2018) are exempted from the requirements if they are not needed to "carry out the active administrative procedures resulting from the tasks of the relevant authority", such as forms or terms that are still in use.

We have a lot of documents that is not covered according to description above.

  • We work continuously with follow-up and corrections of editorial material.
  • For all new developments, accessibility test is made.
