About Transport Analysis
Transport Analysis is a government agency charged with providing decision-makers in the sphere of transport policy with sound and relevant policy advice.
Our work is based on the objectives of economic efficiency and the sustainable provision of transport services for people and business throughout the country.
We participate in developing transport policy by reviewing, analysing, following up and evaluating proposed and implemented measures at the request of the Government.
We analyse the business environment and future prospects within transport policy. Our business environment analyses place special emphasis on the development of the transport system within the context of the European Union.
Transport Analysis is also responsible for the production of official statistics in the transport and communication sectors, including travel surveys and commodity flow surveys.
Our aim is to disseminate knowledge, experiences and results of activities to other authorities and stakeholders, for example, regional actors and organisations.
